For decades, Auberry Glove Co. has been a Farmfest favorite, known for quality craftsmanship and honest work. Now we’re proud to welcome you to our new storefront: nestled inside Meat Hooks BBQ, where the smell of smoked meats, the spirit of hard work, and a legacy of locally made goods come together under one roof.

Inside the store, you will find Terrell Creek Country Store, a place to shop year-round for pasture-raised pork and grass-finished beef, the result of regenerative farming practices at Terrell Creek Grass Farm. The store also features a curated selection of locally sourced goods and products from farmers and makers in our community, creating a space where tradition, sustainability, and local craftsmanship all meet.

The Glove Making Process

The Auberry Glove Story

Auberry Glove Co. has been a part of Missouri craftsmanship for generations. When Mr. Auberry could no longer continue making gloves, Jason and Sharon Salchow stepped in to carry on the tradition. What started as a small family project has become a legacy, where kids learn alongside adults, and every pair of gloves is crafted by hand with care.

From the beginning, our goal has been to involve young people in meaningful work. Our children, and many others, have learned valuable skills in sewing, customer service, and stewardship through this business. We believe in sharing the blessing of work with the next generation.

Craftsmanship

We receive whole goat hides directly from the tannery and cut each piece by hand to ensure durability and comfort. The leather is steamed and stretched to its full potential, making every glove soft, form-fitting, and built to last.

Each glove goes through multiple steps, from cutting and pressing, to stitching, to shaping over chrome hands with steam. It’s this attention to detail that gives our gloves the comfort, fit, and strength people rely on every day.
